MTV OK we have a little story for you Y’see, there was a time before MTV A lonnnng time ago I remember when it first began I didn’t really understand What was this doing on my TV? Channel surfing, I would stop for a look And I soon realized I was hooked How it got to me, I really don’t know But I soon threw out my radio All the new bands Were on there to see You know what it was They called it MTV Turn it on Hey! There’s Blondie! I want my MTV I LOVE Debbie Harry! Put it on Hey is SHE Blondie? I want my MTV Whadya mean the whole BAND is BLONDIE? So I called up my band, I said, "Man this is IT!
